Christiano Ronaldo Moves To Italy

The famous football player is entitled to apply for the “New Residents Flat Tax”

As reported by the main international media, the Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro, aka CR7, is moving to Italy where he will play for the Juventus Football Club in Turin.

It is one of the biggest deals in the entertainment business of all time.

In particular, Juventus will pay € 112 million for the acquisition of the footballer's rights as well as an annual net salary of around € 30 million.

In addition to all this the player could opt for the application of the scheme of the flat tax for new residents. Therefore, paying € 100,000 for each year of tax residence in Italy, Cristiano Ronaldo would fulfill all tax burdens related to foreign incomes, regardless of their amount.

As can be immediately understood, this special tax scheme is particularly suitable for all those subjects who earn significant incomes from foreign sources and have large assets.

Who knows if this chance has influenced the decision of the five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or?
