Is the Netherlands a tax haven?

After the Panama papers revelations and the investigations by the European Commission, Dutch Parliament started a small parliamentary inquiry regarding the question whether the Netherlands is a tax haven or not. 

Some investigations claim that close to 4,000 billion Euros flows through the Netherlands using tax advantageous structures on an annual basis. Parliament wants to know whether this concerns unwanted or illegal set ups. The next two weeks, various types of specialists, but also people like the business managers of U2 and the Rolling Stones will be questioned under oath.
