Hawsons LogoHLB INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES THIRD MEMBER OF NEW UK FEDERATION

HLB International, the international network of accounting firms, is delighted to announce that it has signed a third UK member firm to its newly-established UK Federation. Hawsons, a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in the North of England and the Midlands, has joined HLB International. It is the third practice to add to HLBI's UK federation following the recent appointments of Menzies LLP and Hazlewoods LLP in September.

James Frost, chief operating officer at HLBI, comments: "We are delighted that Hawsons has joined the new HLBI UK federation. We were attracted to them because of their true commitment to deliver quality and international services. We believe that they will be a strong force within the HLBI network and very much look forward to their involvement over the months and years ahead."

Since its formation in the 1850's, Hawsons has grown steadily to become one of the major independent accounting practices with valued experience in advising owner managed businesses. It has well established offices in Sheffield, Doncaster and Northampton.

"As a leading independent accountancy firm, we look after a significant number of clients with international operations. We believe that by joining HLB International, we will be able to further develop our international services to these clients. HLBI is an established international network and we are genuinely excited by the opportunities that joining will bring us." says Martyn Weatherall, senior partner at Hawsons.

HLBI will continue to expand in the UK over the next few months and is planning on adding three more firms shortly to increase its geographic coverage across the UK. Prospective firms are selected on their commitment to developing HLBI both in the UK and globally.
